Model casting in Ibiza — local faces, agency names, all the logistics.

Casting on the island is two jobs in one. Sometimes the brief wants a real Ibiza face — a street-cast local who reads authentic on the cliff or in the market — and sometimes it wants a booked fashion model pulled from the Barcelona and Madrid agencies. We run both from one desk: the casting call and the self-tapes, the options board, the callbacks and fittings, the transfers and greenrooms, and the work permits and releases that have to be right before anyone is on set.

Casting a shoot from off-island is where summer productions come unstuck. A model booked off a digital looks wrong against the real light at Cala Comte. The street-cast face nobody met turns out to be unreliable on the day. The non-EU talent flown in on the wrong paperwork can be turned back, and a child cast without the labour-authority permit cannot legally work. We are the local casting desk that closes those gaps — we know which Ibiza faces actually turn up, we have the Barcelona and Madrid agencies on speed-dial, and we file the talent permits and releases in-house. The creative casting call stays yours; the running of it is ours.

What the casting desk covers

Local and street casting

Real island faces for briefs that want authenticity over polish — street-cast in Dalt Vila, the markets and the villages, plus a running book of locals we have shot before and know will turn up. Open calls and scouting run on the ground, not from a digital sent off-island.

Agency models, Barcelona and Madrid

When the brief wants booked fashion or commercial talent, we option directly with the mainland agencies — UNO, View Management, Traffic, Blow and Francina among them — pull the boards, hold the dates and handle the transfers to the island. The same network behind our campaign and editorial work.

Casting calls, self-tapes and boards

A casting brief turned into a shortlist fast — options boards built to your look, self-tapes and digitals collected and sorted, and a clean board back to the creative team to choose from. We run the call so you choose faces, not chase them.

Callbacks and casting days

In-person callbacks and casting days run on the island when the brief needs to see talent move, fit or read on camera before booking. Space, a camera and a producer to keep the day on time, so the right face is confirmed rather than guessed.

Fittings and sizing

Fittings scheduled and run before the shoot — measurements confirmed against the wardrobe, sample sizes checked, and any swap flagged early so nothing falls apart at call time. Steam tent and rails arranged when the fitting needs them.

Talent logistics

Transfers from IBZ, greenrooms specced for light and rail, the call sheet, chaperones where they are needed and the run-of-day the talent works to. One coordinator owns the talent side from the booking through to wrap.

Permits, visas and releases

Work-authorisation flagged for non-EU talent before they fly, the labour-authority permit filed for any minor on the call sheet, and a model release plus an NDA on file before the first frame. The documentation is in the call sheet, not an afterthought at wrap.

Specialist and real-people casting

Beyond fashion models — families and kids, parts and hand models, character faces, and real-people casting for authentic campaigns. Tell us the look and the register and we cast to it, with the permits each kind of talent needs handled the same way.

How we work

01

Brief

Tell us the look, the register and the dates — local and authentic, booked fashion, or a mix. We turn the casting brief into a clear search and flag what is realistic on the island for the window before anyone commits.

02

Source

Street casting and the local book on the ground, agency boards optioned from Barcelona and Madrid, self-tapes and digitals collected. A shortlist comes back to the creative team built to the look, not a pile to wade through.

03

Confirm

Callbacks or a casting day where the brief needs them, faces chosen, dates held and bookings confirmed. Fittings scheduled, work permits and minor authorisations opened, releases and NDAs lined up.

04

Deliver

Talent transferred, greenrooms set, the call sheet out and a coordinator owning the talent side on the day. Releases signed before the first frame, so post never stalls on a missing piece of paper.

Where we cast

A street-cast face read against the lanes of Dalt Vila. An agency model off the morning flight from Barcelona, fitting by lunch. A family cast in a Santa Gertrudis finca, a real-people line-up walked through the Las Dalias market. Formentera talent on the same booking when the brief crosses the water. One coordinator owns the talent across all of it.

Lovely CPS runs model casting Ibiza productions need when the talent has to be found, fitted and made shoot-ready on the island rather than coordinated from off-island. Sometimes that is a street-cast local face that reads authentic against the real light; sometimes it is a booked fashion model optioned from the Barcelona and Madrid agencies — UNO, View Management, Traffic, Blow and Francina among them. We run the casting call, collect the self-tapes and digitals, build the options board, run callbacks or a casting day, schedule the fittings, and handle the transfers, the work permits and the releases. The creative casting decision stays with you; the running of it is ours.

A casting is only as good as the shoot it serves, so this desk plugs straight into the rest of the production. The models we cast walk into fashion campaign production and editorial production in Ibiza, in front of the Ibiza production crew we build for the same shoot, and onto the line-up for fashion show production when the brief is a runway. High-volume on-model days for catalogue sit with ecommerce shoot production. One producer carries the brief across all of it, so the cast, the crew and the locations are booked to the same plan.

Casting in Spain comes with paperwork that is easy to get wrong from abroad. EU and EEA talent works freely; talent from outside the EU enters on a Schengen stay of up to 90 days in any 180, which covers the trip but not by itself the paid work, so casting Ibiza briefs with international faces need work-authorisation lined up early with the agency. Minors can take part in a shoot only with a permit from the labour authority and written parental consent, on shorter hours and never at night. We file the authorisations, brief the chaperones and put a model release and an NDA on file before the first frame — so the talent side is compliant, calm and entirely off your plate.

Questions we get a lot

Do you cast local models in Ibiza, or bring them from the mainland?

Both, and most briefs want a mix. For an authentic island look we street-cast and pull from a local book of faces we have shot before and trust to turn up. For booked fashion or commercial talent we option directly with the Barcelona and Madrid agencies — UNO, View Management, Traffic, Blow and Francina among them — and handle the transfers to the island. Tell us the look and we will tell you honestly which route serves it best, or how to combine the two.

Can you run the casting if we already have our own model agency?

Yes — that is a lot of our work. If you are bringing your own agency casting, we are the local liaison and logistics desk: we run the on-island callbacks or casting day, schedule and run the fittings, sort the transfers and greenrooms, and handle the work permits and releases around the talent your agency books. The creative casting call stays entirely yours; we make sure it lands cleanly on the ground in Ibiza.

How does casting work for non-EU or international models shooting in Spain?

EU and EEA talent works in Spain without extra paperwork. Talent from outside the EU enters on a Schengen stay of up to 90 days in any 180, which covers the trip but does not by itself cover paid work — so we flag the work-authorisation early and line it up with the model’s agency before anyone is booked. Tell us where the faces are flying in from and we build the documentation into the call sheet rather than discover a problem at the airport.

Can you cast children or minors for a shoot in Ibiza?

Yes, with the right authorisation. In Spain a child under 16 can take part in a shoot or show only with a permit from the labour authority, granted when the work does not affect their health or schooling; 16- and 17-year-olds need written parental consent, and no minor works nights or long days. We file the authorisation, brief a chaperone and build the shorter hours into the call sheet, so a kids or family cast stays compliant and calm on the day.

Do you run casting days, self-tapes and callbacks?

All three. For a quick turnaround we collect self-tapes and digitals, sort them and send a clean options board back to the creative team. When the brief needs to see talent move, fit or read on camera, we run an in-person casting day or callbacks on the island — space, a camera and a producer keeping the day on time. We scope which the brief actually needs on the first call so the casting is thorough without dragging.

What about image rights, usage and releases?

Every booking goes out with a model release and the usage agreed in writing before the shoot, and an NDA by default for unreleased campaigns. The talent payment and the usage licence are set by the model’s own agency and passed straight through — we handle the booking paperwork, the releases and the NDAs, not the commercial terms. For street-cast and real-people talent we use a clear personal release so the footage is cleared for the use you need.

How far ahead should we lock casting for a summer shoot?

Earlier than most teams expect for peak season. July and August are the busiest weeks on the island for talent, fittings and the agencies, and any work permit or minor authorisation needs filing ahead. A few weeks of lead time is comfortable for a straightforward cast; sooner is better if the brief needs international talent, children or a large line-up. Send the brief and we will read the window back honestly before anyone commits.

Can you cast real people, families and specialist faces, not just fashion models?

Yes. Alongside fashion and commercial models we cast real people for authentic campaigns, families and kids, character faces, and parts or hand models for product and beauty. We street-cast and brief to the register the campaign wants, and handle the permits each kind of talent needs — the labour-authority authorisation for minors, a clear release for real-people casting — the same careful way.

Send us the casting brief

Tell us the look, the register and the dates — local and authentic, booked fashion, or a mix. We will come back with how we would cast it, what the island and the agencies can realistically deliver in your window, and which permits the talent needs.

NDA by default on every brief. Casting boards, talent details and unreleased campaigns stay off shared drives.
