We shoot swimwear in Ibiza every summer. 40+ campaigns since 2013.

Forty-plus swim and resort campaigns since 2013. We know which cove catches light just after 07:00 in July, which permit desk is closed in August, and which llaut captain does the sunrise drop for a water-safety brief. Brief us Wednesday this week — we ship a recce reel the following Monday, swim fit-check Tuesday.

Swimwear in Ibiza is a time window, not a place. Cala d’Hort catches the Es Vedrà silhouette for roughly forty minutes either side of sunrise; Cala Conta flattens out about an hour before sunset and rakes orange through late golden hour. The cove you pinned on the moodboard is on private access until the Costas paperwork lands. The Parque Natural desk closes for fiesta weeks in August nobody warns you about. We shoot this every summer — forty-plus swim and resort campaigns since 2013 — so the call sheet moves to the light, not the other way around.

What we handle for swim & resort

Swim-specific location library

Cala d’Hort, Cala Salada, Cala Conta (Cala Comte), Aguas Blancas, Sa Caleta, Punta Galera — plus 60+ unlisted coves, cliff drops and boat anchor points scouted for swim, not wedding Pinterests.

Permits — Parque Natural + Costas + Ajuntament

Ses Salines sits inside Parque Natural; the waterline belongs to Demarcación de Costas, not the town hall. We file the three-desk stack that closed-beach swim shoots actually need. Ajuntament 5–7 days, Parque Natural 8–10 days, Costas 10–14 days.

Swim-literate crew

DPs who’ve exposed for bronzed skin against white sand and turquoise water. Gaffers with beach-sand-proof grip kit. HMU leads who carry matte-finish for post-water touch-ups. All locally sourced, fluent English, rated cards on file.

Talent — model agencies with swim books

Ibiza, Madrid, Barcelona, Paris and London agency rosters. Diverse and inclusive swim casting — size-range, skin-tone range, age-range — not just the Formentera-blonde default. We brief diversity into the casting spec, not as an afterthought.

Post — colour for bronzed skin + water

Grade passes tuned for skin and turquoise without flipping into cyan; water-detail retention when the DP pushed stops for silhouette. Retouching that respects visible tan lines — or removes them, on brief.

How we work

01

Brief

Send the mood, the swim style, the talent brief, the drop date. We come back inside four hours with a cove-shortlist mapped to the exact sunrise and sunset windows of your shoot week, not an annual average.

02

Scout

Cove recce filmed at the same tide and time your shoot will run. Permits filed same day as recce for the three-desk stack — Ajuntament, Parque Natural and Costas. Swim fit-check the day before call.

03

Produce

Water-safety brief for every boat and cove day. Tan-management schedule for talent — sun-exposure windows, shade-rotation, touch-up cycles. Kit protected from salt spray with sealed transport. One producer, one WhatsApp thread.

04

Wrap

Owner payments same day, coves returned cleaner than found, rushes colour-tagged for bronzed-skin grade. Brand approvals turned inside 48h of wrap on a Lightroom contact sheet.

Ibiza — cove-by-cove

Cala d’Hort for the Es Vedrà silhouette at summer sunrise. Cala Salada for turquoise hero-shots before the 10:00 boat traffic. Cala Conta (Cala Comte) for late-golden-hour orange rake (around 20:00–20:30 in August). Aguas Blancas for east-coast cliff drops and the only morning-light cove on that side. Sa Caleta for red-cliff swim. Punta Galera for slate-shelf framing, wind-dependent.

If you’re planning a swimwear shoot ibiza for May–October drop — or a resort campaign production ibiza for cruise or pre-fall — you want a producer who’s done it forty-plus times, not one. Lovely CPS has produced swim and resort campaigns on Ibiza coasts since 2013, across luxury houses, contemporary swim brands, high-street swim lines and editorial covers. We know which cove reads at which hour of which month, which permits close for local fiestas nobody tells agencies about, and which model agencies actually have a swim book that doesn’t default to one body type.

Our ibiza swimwear photoshoot locations are cove-by-cove scouted for swim. Cala d’Hort reads the Es Vedrà silhouette at summer sunrise (~07:10 mid-July). Cala Salada for turquoise hero-stills before the boat chop hits at 10:00. Cala Conta (Cala Comte) for the late-golden-hour orange rake the brand decks love. Aguas Blancas for east-coast sunrise cliff drops. Sa Caleta for red-cliff swim. Punta Galera when you need slate-shelf framing and the wind is onside. Plus 60+ unlisted coves and private boat-access points, each with the Parque Natural, Costas and Ajuntament paperwork pre-mapped.

Three postcodes, one contract. If the drop needs Ibiza swim plus a Formentera ferry cutaway plus a Mallorca cliff-finale — or a winter swimwear production spain cover shoot on the south coast — we bill it all under one producer. Send the brief. We’ll come back inside four hours, island time, with a cove reel matched to your exact shoot week.

Questions we get a lot

What are the best sunrise and sunset light windows for a swimwear shoot Ibiza in peak season?

In July–August, civil dawn lands around 06:50 with usable silhouette light from just after 07:00 through roughly 07:40 before the sun climbs and flattens. Sunset golden-hour runs from about 20:30 to 21:00, with late-golden-hour orange rake on west-coast coves — Cala Conta, Cala Salada. Shoulder-season windows in May and October shift by 45–60 minutes. We match your call sheet to the exact date, not an annual average.

Can you close a beach or cove at dawn for an ibiza swimwear photoshoot?

For morning-only, sign-posted closures on municipal beaches we file through the relevant Ajuntament — Sant Josep for Cala d’Hort, Cala Salada and Cala Conta; Santa Eulària for Aguas Blancas; Sant Antoni for Cala Bassa — typically 5–7 working days. Parque Natural coves (Ses Salines, Es Cavallet) add a separate 8–10 day Ministerio-aligned permit. Costas clears the waterline itself.

How do you handle body inclusivity and diversity in swim casting?

We work with model agencies in Ibiza, Madrid, Barcelona, Paris and London that carry genuine size-range, skin-tone range and age-range swim books. We brief diversity into the casting spec, not as an afterthought, and we’ve cast curve, midsize, mature and mixed-heritage talent on swim projects across luxury, contemporary and indie resort brands. Brief us the shape of the casting, not just the headcount, and the first casting cut reflects it.

How do you manage tan lines, sunburn and skin consistency across a multi-day swim shoot?

We build a tan-management schedule into the call sheet — sun-exposure windows for talent between setups, shade-rotation, SPF cycle reapplied every 90 minutes on set, and matte-finish touch-ups for post-water sheen. On multi-day shoots we brief talent 48 hours ahead on pre-shoot sun exposure and hydration. If a tan-line is a continuity problem, HMU carries body-tan correction; if it’s a campaign feature, we keep it clean.

Do you run swim fit-checks before shoot day?

Yes — always. Fit-check session 24 hours before call, HMU and stylist in the room, brand or remote approvals confirmed the same afternoon. Every swim look tried on, tagged for size correction, and routed back to the brand if a sample swap is needed — usually an overnight courier from Palma.

Can you produce a boat, over-water or underwater shoot?

Yes. We charter traditional llaut, modern day-charter and RIB support depending on the shot. Water-safety diver is mandatory for any in-water talent — our standing policy, not a client ask. Kit is protected in sealed Peli cases. Drone-over-water permits are filed with AESA when needed. Underwater stills run through a housed DSLR or a specialist Nauticam rig. Boat schedules are built around the swell forecast, not just light — we’ve killed boat days on safety grounds the morning of, with a back-up cove held.

How fast are brand-approval cycles on resort shoots, and do you manage them?

We manage the approval pipe end-to-end. Same-day selects from DIT in a shared review gallery; first-pass approvals out within 36–48 hours of wrap on a Lightroom contact sheet; colour grade pass and retouching round inside a further 5–10 working days depending on volume. For luxury houses with multiple stakeholders we set a single-approver workflow and escalation ladder in the pre-production pack.

Can you produce across Ibiza, Formentera and Mallorca on one brief?

Yes. Formentera is a 30-minute ferry — we organise vehicle transfer, permits through the Consell Insular de Formentera, and catering. Mallorca is a 25-minute flight or a 2-hour charter ferry — we have a permanent fixer in Palma and have shot Tramuntana for cross-campaign work. One contract covers all three islands; no separate producer, no separate invoice.
