A producer’s index of locations we’ve lit, permitted and delivered on — grouped by type, tagged by best-light window, and honest about which ones close for turtles or cruise-ship Wednesdays. Not a travel-blog list. If it’s on Pinterest we’ll tell you; if it isn’t, we’ll tell you who to email.
Travel blogs list the same twelve spots in the same order. Half of them are cruise-ship-timed — Cala d’Hort is done by 11:30 on Wednesdays. A quarter sit inside Parc Natural de Ses Salines and need a permit the Ajuntament can’t issue. Some of the most-shared fincas have been off-grid since the 2021 rental reforms. The permit desk in Sant Josep closes at 14:30 on Fridays. The road to Atlantis is only passable for about forty minutes before the rocks are in the sun. We built this list the way we build a recce reel — with the light window, the permit authority, the access note, and the shoot we did there.
Every location below has been shoot-tested. If it’s not here, we’ll find and vet it — real photos, real owners, real access confirmations.
Ajuntament d’Eivissa, Parc Natural de Ses Salines, Guardia Civil closed-road, Ajuntament de Sant Josep, private owner releases. We know which desk handles what.
Crew, kit, HMU, catering, talent transport. One producer across multiple locations per day, one WhatsApp thread, receipts filed as we go.
Cliff silhouettes, turquoise coves, white-wall fincas, pink salt flats, lantern-lit villages. The full look range, on one island — including dedicated swimwear & resort production.
Same contract, same producer. Formentera by ferry, Mallorca on a sister office — kit van on the early boat.
Private estates, closed beaches, sunrise-only roads, horses in a cove — we’ve done it. Ask us at hola@lovely-cps.com
Send us the board and the shoot window. We come back inside four hours with locations pre-matched to your lighting and permit reality, plus one or two unlisted options.
We drive the shortlist, meet owners, pre-clear permits and hold alt-locations for weather flips. Every location on this page has a pre-filed ownership and permit contact.
Crew, trucks, HMU, catering, drone op, talent transport. One producer per campaign, one WhatsApp thread, receipts filed as we go.
Owners paid same day, locations returned in better condition than we found them, heritage zones signed off clean. Carbon report on request; usage clauses chased.
Beach, cove, cliff, finca, salt flat, village, sunset, urban. Es Vedrà silhouettes at 20:10 for nine minutes. Parc Natural de Ses Salines pink flats when the flamingos have left but the colour hasn’t. Dalt Vila ramparts at first light before the first tourist. North-coast fincas that haven’t been on Pinterest in years.
| BEST LIGHT WINDOW | May–Oct · golden hour 07:00–09:00 and 19:30–20:45 (July) |
| NEAREST AIRPORT | IBZ · 15–45 min from every location on this list |
| PERMIT LEAD TIME | 3–7 days municipal · 8–10 days Parc Natural · 10–15 days Dalt Vila heritage |

If you landed here looking for ibiza photoshoot locations that aren’t a recycled travel-blog listicle, this is the list. Every location above has been lit, permitted and delivered on for a campaign we produced — for houses including Zimmermann, Bottega Veneta, Galvan London, Nili Lotan, Fiorucci, Johnstons of Elgin, Zara Woman and Louis Vuitton. We’ve stripped out the spots that every blog includes but that professional campaigns have quietly stopped using — over-photographed beach-club cutaways, the post-2021 off-grid fincas — and replaced them with the ones art buyers keep asking for — the north-coast fincas, the Parc Natural de Ses Salines flats, the forty-minute red-cliff window at Sa Caleta.
The island is small but the look range is wider than the brief usually assumes — from swim and resort covered by our swimwear & resort production desk to editorial production in Ibiza. Our fashion shoot locations ibiza index covers beaches (Cala Comte, Platja d’en Bossa), coves (Cala Salada, Gracioneta, Xarraca), cliffs (Es Vedrà, Sa Caleta, Cap Blanc, Atlantis), fincas (Santa Gertrudis modernist and Sant Joan off-grid), salt flats (Ses Salines, Es Cavallet), villages (Dalt Vila, Santa Gertrudis, Sant Joan, Balàfia), and sunset points (San Antonio strip, Benirrás, Cala Conta) — full Ibiza location scouting is available for any location on this list. Permits go through five desks — Ajuntament d’Eivissa, Sant Josep, Sant Antoni, Sant Joan, Santa Eulària — plus Parc Natural de Ses Salines for the flats and Guardia Civil for road closures, all handled by the Ibiza film-permits desk.
One producer, one contract — end-to-end Ibiza production from scout through wrap. If your campaign chains ibiza fashion locations with Formentera ferries or a Mallorca tailpiece, we run both under the same agreement. Send the brief. We reply in under four hours, island time.
They’re the ones we’ve actually shot professional campaigns on in recent years — drawn from a deep library built door-by-door, owner-by-owner across the island. We’ve specifically left out the spots that travel blogs still list but that producers have quietly stopped using (Cala Bassa’s beach-club terrace, post-2021 off-grid fincas, over-photographed Café Mambo rows). If you want a default shortlist starter for each category, the first location in each section is our recommendation.
None of them for commercial or editorial use. Technically tourist photography on public beaches doesn’t require a permit, but the moment you have a tripod, lighting, a crew of three, or commercial usage, the municipality treats it as a commercial shoot and the fines are meaningful. We file the permit in every case, and for Parc Natural de Ses Salines (the pink flats, Es Cavallet) you also need the park resolution — typically 8–10 working days.
Most coastal locations are technically legal under AESA rules with the right operator certification, a filed flight plan and a coastal-zone addendum — we handle the filing. Hard nos: anywhere inside Parc Natural de Ses Salines (the pink flats, Es Cavallet), Dalt Vila heritage airspace, and the airport approach cone over Platja d’en Bossa during operational hours. Cap Blanc, Es Vedrà offshore, Cala d’Hort and the north-coast cliffs all permit drones with the right paperwork.
May 15 – October 15 is the campaign season. Sunrise light runs 07:00–09:00 with the clearest air; sunset 19:30–20:45 in July, tightening to 18:30 by October. West-facing locations (Es Vedrà, San Antonio, Cala Comte, Atlantis) hero the sunset; east-facing (Cala Xarraca, Sa Caleta) own the sunrise. November–April can be stunning but shoot-day weather risk roughly doubles — we build alternatives into planning for those months.
Yes — that’s the most common plan. A realistic day across this list is three locations: one morning call, one midday interior or finca, one sunset. Most beach-plus-finca-plus-village combinations fit inside a twelve-hour day when locations share a municipality. The island’s maximum cross-drive is about 55 minutes.
Yes. A scout-only brief — recce reel, photo board, permit-feasibility note, truck-access report — lands inside 48 hours from brief. If you book the full production, the scout engagement credits against the line. We also offer live video scouting for clients who can’t fly in — the art buyer watches the finca walkthrough in real time.
Formentera is a 30-minute ferry, chained regularly — kit van on the first boat, crew on the second. Mallorca runs on a sister production office (Sa Calobra, Tramuntana, Deià, Cap de Formentor). Menorca we handle by flying a core crew in; less volume there. Johnstons of Elgin shot Ibiza and Mallorca on one contract in a single week.
